Her birth date was 1 March 1980 in Moscow and was born to members of a family including the Director and the economist Tatyana Dmitrievna. In childhood she was admitted to the hospital for 6 months and diagnosed with arthritis rheumatoid. His career as a skater with compatriot Denis Samokhin made him famous. In 1993, the pair finished 8th in a Junior World Championship. In 1994, they placed 7th. The year 1994 saw her briefly joined forces with Maxim Kachanov. They were placed 5th in the Goodwill Games. She then was paired along with Vladimir Fedorov. Both were successful with their team-up as each won the Finlandia Trophy and participated in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Together, they achieved even more success than they did individually, however their greatest achievement was placing 15th in the 1998 World Championships.
