Aaron Jeffery

The Logie Award-winning New Zealand actor Aaron C. Jeffery is from Australia. His roles include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He also played Matt "Fletch” Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and relocated to Australia when he was seventeen years old. He pursued acting studies at NIDA. He earned his NIDA degree in 1993. Then, he launched his TV career as a producer on the children's show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is most well-known for his performance as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He departed the drama in the year 2008. He also appeared in the third season of Outrageous Fortune, a New Zealand drama. Jeffery was also portrayed as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. Filming ended on the 22nd of June. The next day, Jeffery was announced as Bradley Fox's replacement for Neighbours for two months. In October, it was revealed that Jeffery had been chosen to play a corrections official in the series Wentworth. He also appeared in the Bevan Lee series Between Two Worlds for the Seven Network. In April 2021 it was revealed that Jeffery was to appear on Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. In both 2004 and 2007, Jeffery won the Silver Logie for the Most Popular Actor in Drama Series for his work on McLeod's Daughters.
