Dawson, born May 9, 1979in the United States, is an American actress. In 1995,
she made her feature film debut with the independent drama Kids. Her later film
roles include He Got Game (1998), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Men in Black
II (2002), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005), Clerks II (2006), Death Proof (2007),
Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief
(2010), Unstoppable (2010), Zookeeper (2011), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014)
and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson also provides voice-overs for Warner
Bros./DC Comics as well as ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. As part of
her character in Rent, Dawson was awarded the Satellite Award in Best
Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top Five, Dawson was nominated to
the Critics Choice Award for the category of Best actress in Comedy. Dawson was
born on May 9, 1979, in New York City. Isabel Celeste is her mother and has
Afro-Cuban ancestry. Rosario was 16 when Isabel was born. Her mother, Isabel
Celeste, never was married. Patrick C. Harris. Rosario was a child the first
children of her mother's marriage to Greg Dawson (a construction worker).
Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson’s half-brother. Dawson
is also known for playing a variety of characters in comic book
adaptations.These include Gail in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill
For (2014), Claire Temple in five of the Marvel/Netflix series (2015-2018) and
voiceovers for Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in the DC Animated Movie Universe and
Space Jam: A New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl on The Lego Batman Movie.
She portrayed Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian's second season, which will air in
2020. She will also be appearing in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She
will also be appearing in Young Rock, an autobiographical comedy directed by
Dwayne John that will air in 2021.
