Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols is the daughter Alison and James Nichols. She is of English, French Canadian, German, Irish, Italian and Scottish ancestry. Cony High School, Augusta was where she graduated with the high jump award. She attended Columbia University in New York City in which she completed a double major in math and economics. She began modeling, and launched a successful career with work with a number of prestigious companies, including Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel made the decision to pursue acting and was offered a part in the HBO drama Sex and the City (1998). This was her first audition. Her film debut came as Jessica Matthews in Dumb and Dumberer: How Harry Met Lloyd (2003). She continued to make waves with films like The Amityville Horror (2006), The Inside (2005) and Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2008), Criminal Minds (2006) (a role that is a recurring part as the FBI Agent Ashley Seaver role) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). Columbia University, where she obtained a double degree in economics and math, was her main part as Kiera Cameron (police officer) in the science-fiction series Continuum (2012). Modeled for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. She was the restaurant hostess for Sex and the City, the first role for which she auditioned. Nichols along with her Star Trek (2009) co-star Zoe Saldana both went on to collaborate alongside Stephen Lang. Saldana was with Lang in Avatar 2009; Nichols with Lang Conan the Barbarian 2011. On December 30 2013 she was engaged to real developer of real estate Michael Kershaw. She is naturally blonde.
