Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She hosts Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. With her signature spiky blond hair and bubbly personality Anne Burrell eliminates the intimidation of restaurant dishes and reveals concise easy-to-master techniques for the at-home cook in her Food Network series Secrets of a Restaurant Chef. Chef Burrell studied and worked in some of the most prestigious New York restaurants. He has also competed in Iron Chef America and the cuisine of Italy. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. Her passion was for working in the restaurant business by enrolment in The Culinary Institute of America following the completion of a bachelor's degree in English as well as Communication at Canisius College, Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America has been a great learning experience. I just couldn't get enough enjoyment from the experience. After graduating of the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and chef Burrell was able to spend a whole year in Italy studying and working at La Taverna del Lupo restaurant located in Umbria and La Bottega del 30 one Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. It was during this time that her experience in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate Italian tradition and philosophy, and has made an impression on her perception of food. Burrell has served on the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which brightens children living with challenges. She is also a Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation celebrity ambassador, where she advocates for the awareness of juvenile diabetes. as a speaker, guest and teacher, she travels around the US to talk about her passion for cooking as well as her professional career. Anne was always grateful that she was able to share her passion of her life, sharing her cooking skills with other people.
